The festival is running its 28th edition this year and always brings a very diverse line up of veterans and young country artists from Canada and the United States. 2- Music in the fields

If you haven’t had enough of coutry music yet, then head in rural Ontario for a taste of Lucknow’s Music in the fields festival. In addition to good music, you can have the satisfaction that all profits will be redistributed to charity. This country music festival likes to put the spotlight on emerging artist, so it’s your chance to see the next big star before everyone!
3- Limestone City Blues Festival
24 -27 August, Downtown Kingston, Ontario
The city of Kingston is hosting a vibrant celebration of blues music in collaboration with local venues, restaurants, shops and more. A $15 bracelets grants you access to more than 50 concerts throughout the weekend.
4- Canadian National exhibition
18 August – 4th September, Toronto’s Exhibition Place, Ontario

It was easy to put this one on our top list of festivals not to miss. The exhibition takes place over 18 days and includes roller coasters, air shows, parades, ice skating shows, music, food and much much more. There is literally something for everyone there, so plan your visit according to the schedule.
5- Toronto International Film Festival
7 – 17 September, Downtown Toronto, Ontario
Movie lovers rush to the TIFF every year to watch international and Canadian productions alike. See the program here and buy your tickets package as soon as possible if you wish to get a seat. As usual, you can expect big names of the industry to visit for the duration of the festival.
